Bringing together boys and girls throughout the Archdiocese of San Francisco to sing the Praise of God

Dear Friends in Christ,

It is my great pleasure to commend to you the Cathedral’s Choir of Boys and Girls, now in its fifteenth year. This choir presents a wonderful opportunity for using young talent in service of the Church and for the enjoyment of the greater community. Our young singers not only learn about serving the Church, but they also receive a comprehensive musical education, including voice training and music reading. We hope that many children will answer this call and use their voice to praise God in song, since, as St. Augustine said, by singing well, they pray twice.
